Silver Screen

去年の中ごろから先輩がちっちゃな手のひらサイズのマンガを自作して
社内に配布してるのですが、今日また新しい話が配られたので
落書きしてみました。主人公と友達（？）のくじらです。
このマンガは海を漂流するお話で、今回の話には新キャラが登場してました。

なんか最近変な夢ばかり見ます。
てんとう虫がいっぱい足首からでてきたり
へんな全裸のおっさんに追っかけられたり・・・。疲れてるのかな。

Our senior artist Matt has been distributing his hand made little comic book since last year. This morning he came over to hand out the latest issue, so I made a doodle fan art about his characters. The comic is about adventures in ocean, and this latest book the main character meets a mysterious pirate girl (woo!) who has really cool costumes on.

I have been having weird dreams lately. The dream I had day before yesterday was a bunch of ladybugs coming out from a bump on my foot. That was pretty gross. Last night in my dream I was chased by a naked chubby old dude with white hair and beard. That was not that scary, but it was very disgusting. Maybe I should relax more…

最近イライラしがちなので困ります。
気がつけばマリリンマンソンが聴きたくなっている自分。
だめだこりゃー。もっとポジティブに！健康的に！

仕事の合間に休憩かねて落書きしてたらこんなんなりました。
同僚からもらったウルトラマンフィギュアが目の前にあるのです。
その下には先週社内で流行ったヒゲがあるのです。
んー。がんばれ自分。

もっと本が読みたいです。日本の文庫本いっぱい買ってきたけど
もう読んじゃった。小説が読みたいのじゃよー
コミックは読み終わるのが早すぎて、最近は買う気しないです・・・

Good morning…it’s been a while since I came back from Japan, and my body is completely adjusted to US time now. My coworker also went to Japan this winter, and he has been letting me read some of comics he got. Reading books and comics are really fun and relaxing. I wish I could get more books to read easily. Of course there are many stores in Boston, but it’s really hard to find a book store that sells Japanese novels. My recent hobby is to read good Japanese novels, and I’m out of stock now. I got few books in Japan during the trip, but I finished all of them. I guess I read too fast. (I’m a little proud of it though, because when it comes to English books, I am extremely slow due to lack of concentration.)

I’ve been reading some Japanese horror manga, mainly because guys around me at work loves to own old school Japanese horror comics. I just finished vol. 1 & 2 of Hakaba Kitaro 墓場鬼太郎 by Shigeru Mizuki 水木しげる. The color prints of his works are simply amazing. I heard there is new animation series based on this book just started in Japan. The opening looks pretty lad.

前々から公開したくてうずうずしてたんですが、丁度いいや。
一度は取り壊しの憂き目に会い、写真のコレは二代目。
鳥っこもこういうクリエイティブさをあーゲフンああーいつまでも失わないようにしたいと思います。

Someone found photos of our beloved Tech Artist Leo’s cardboard box office is posted on Kotaku yesterday. this dude’s place is one of my favorite places in Harmonix. I think being creative is very important for cough cough us video game artists cough and I hope he’d keep building more lol.

もうとっくにあけていますが、おめでとうございます。
お正月は実家で過ごしました。一週間ほどの帰省でしたが
昔の友達にあったり観光したり温泉に行ったり非常に濃い一週間でした。
６の３のみんな、ありがとう。幹事のお二方、ちょうありがとう。
Kaoringとのりぞうちゃんにも会えたし
恵比寿GPのチボウの先輩方にも会えたし
おなかいっぱいでございます。んふぅ。

今回の帰国はN氏つきだったのです。アメリカからお持ち帰り的な感覚で。
結構忙しいスケジュールだったけど、本人も楽しんでくれたみたいなので
（そしてそれ以上に私が楽しかったので）、二重丸！な休暇でした。
色々と書きたいことがあるのですが、まあ後ほど写真も交えてアップします。

N氏が温泉にはまってくれたので、次に帰るときは温泉旅行になりそうな感じです。
東京よりも温泉。都会より森。まあ、そういう年頃なんですよ・・・。

allo. Noah and I came back from Japan trip last night. It was greeeaaat! We went to Tokyo, hot spring, met my friends. went to see some movies…and ate lots of very nice foods. There are so many things I would like to write about, but I will wait till I get my camera back from Noah. I will upload some pics as soon as i get it back. I am very glad he liked hot spring in Japan. After the experience we kept talking about how I would customize my bathroom and make it into Japanes bath style…when I get my own house in future. Next time we go visit Japan again, we want to go to Yakushima, the great forest in Kyushu.
